Please read the full instructions prior to beginning the upgrade. This upgrade will erase any applications and data you have on your phone (apps, contacts, profiles settings). If you have a gmail account, make sure your contacts, gmail and calendar are synced. To verify: from your phone, go to menu > settings > accounts & Sync > manage accounts. Choose your gmail account. Select the options that you want to sync (contacts, gmail, calendar). Each item will display the date and time it was last updated. Or, once you have installed HTC Sync, you can use it to back up contacts and calendar.
