MTA is currently recruiting for a Budget / Financial Analyst. This position is responsible for conducting professional accounting and analysis work of a varied nature, primarily involving the preparation, monitoring and reporting of operating, financial and capital budgets. Other duties include assistance in development of fiscal policy, conducting financial and cost analyses, and preparation of other business related studies. Conducts ongoing internal audit of transactions and other inputs as they relate to quality control efforts within the budget and accounting systems. Reports directly to the Corporate Controller. Required, five years of progressive staff level accounting and/or finance experience. A B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.

Candidates must have strong skills utilizing automated mediums, including spreadsheet development, data manipulation, analysis and reporting. Excel is required. Prior experience with JD Edwards enterprise systems is highly desirable. Individuals possessing a familiarity with regulated telephony accounting practices and 47 CFR Parts 32 and 64 are desirable. MTA is currently recruiting for a Systems / Network Administrator II to work in our Palmer office. This position’s primary responsibility is to work within the Information Security Office to provide security focused support and administration for MTA’s production systems and network based services. Preferred skills include enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, Windows, Linux, UNIX, VMWare, networking, storage systems and other computer based technologies.

Bachelor or Associates Degree in Information Systems, or related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience is acceptable. MCSE, GIAC or CISSP certifications are preferred.
