MTA Communications is currently looking for bright, energetic part time Part Time Support Center Agents. These positions report to the Palmer/Wasilla Highway office and hours will vary but evening and weekend shift work will be required.
Primary duties include answering customer inquiries in a friendly, professional and efficient manner and assisting them with a wide range of internet related questions.
We will train you for the troubleshooting and support skills you’ll need, but basic PC and customer service experience is required for this position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with active listening and problem solving abilities are desired. A+, Network + or other Professional Certifications are a plus. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to acquire new technology and be able to pass that knowledge along to customers over the phone.

MTA is currently recruiting for a Senior Business Systems Analyst. This position is responsible for assisting MTA in the design, development, implementation, analysis and ongoing maintenance of computer based software, procedures and practices. In cooperation with other corporate business analysts, they will act as the liaison between various departments, information technology and other workgroups on matters relating to automated systems. This position will help MTA improve how it conducts its functions and activities in order to reduce overall costs, provide more efficient use of resources, and better support customers.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field is preferred. This individual must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience working with automated business systems with at least four (4) years at the business analyst level, including process analysis and design. Additionally, this person should be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently on a variety of assignments with people at all levels of the organization. MTA is currently recruiting for a Network Maintenance Engineer to work out of our Palmer office. This person is required to be a self-starter and capable of working alone or as a strong group member or team leader. The Network Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for assisting technicians in network troubleshooting and adherence in telephony installation standards. The Network Maintenance Engineer will also keep current with new products, technologies, and regulatory requirements to include F.C.C., R.U.S., Telcordia, and other network functional requirements.
A degree in Electrical Engineering plus six (6) to eight (8) years experience is preferred. A background in DC power and battery systems would be considered a plus.
